| dc.description.abstract | The study aimed to examine the impact of strategic intelligence on crisis management in major government hospitals in the southern Palestinian governorates. It adopted a descriptive-analytical approach and used an electronic questionnaire as the research tool to collect data from respondents. The study population consisted of healthcare staff working in government hospitals in the southern Palestinian governorates, specifically: Nasser Medical Complex, Al-Shifa Medical Complex, Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, Abdel Aziz Al-Rantisi Hospital, and the Eye Hospital. The total number of employees in these hospitals was 4,593. A random sample of 355 individuals was selected, and 325 questionnaires were retrieved, representing a response rate of 87%. The study reached several key findings, the most important of which are: the level of strategic intelligence and its dimensions scored a mean of 3.5 and a relative weight of 71%, which is considered high; the level of crisis management scored a mean of 3.5 and a relative weight of 70.5%, also high. Moreover, the study found a significant impact of strategic intelligence on crisis management in government hospitals in the southern Palestinian governorates. The study concluded with several recommendations, most notably: the necessity of enhancing entrepreneurial capabilities for creativity based on future foresight within hospital management, involving employees in decision-making and responsibility-sharing, using process flow maps to understand the interconnection between scientific and administrative procedures, strengthening hospital partnerships in research and development to improve services provided to target groups, and adopting a scientific methodology for efficient crisis management. | |
